Our Fourth of July!

I hope you all had a warm and fun FOURTH OF JULY!!

Ours was busy, busy, busy.  Almost too busy, but still fun.
We spent the morning decorating the boy's bikes for our neighborhood bike parade!

Isaac was a bit of a road hazard, but managed to keep up with the big boys.
He rides in reverse 90% of the time...he's extra talented.

Nicholas, Jack, and Caleb...the three amigos.

After the neighborhood festivities we went to our friends Bob and Julie's house for some more patriotic fun!  They have a pool, sport court and trampoline.  We like going to their house!

Poor Isaac trying hopelessly to climb in the pool.  Since Caleb and Weston's lips were turning blue I figured it was too cold for my little newborn, infant baby.  And I wasn't about to hop in to help him swim!

On our way home that night, we stopped off at a fireworks stand to make a few impulse purchases.  Fireworks are not allowed in our great city of Mill Creek, but we figured sparklers would be o.k.  The funny thing was they gave us a couple of freebies which turned out to be a little "louder" than we expected once we lit them off.  Caleb was worried the police were going to come to our house :)  We're SUCH law-breakers!!!  Don't tell.

All of this activity took place in the middle of our big "turning the office into the school room" project which involved painting, shampooing ALL of our carpets, and assembling a billion pieces of IKEA furniture!  Pictures to come soon!

  1. Beautiful photography and beautiful memories. Love Isaac's expression pleading to go into the pool. Weston is oh-so-cool in those swimming goggles. Caleb looks pleased to be one of the boys with his friends. Glad it was a wonderful celebration.
